Highlights from Fast 2002—

"For the Dignity of All"

Mindful of the long shadows of September 11, the 2002 fast was about rebuilding. The Fast was observed by over 1500 New Yorkers from Tuesday, March 5, 2002 at 8 p.m. until Thursday, March 7 at noon. An infrastructure of ethical protections remains essential to safeguard the dignity of every worker in the state of New York.
