Free the Children chapters across the state are learning from members who traveled during the summer. Emily Wistar, 16, of the Capital District Chapter is pictured on the right. She works with a student at the St. Pius School in Kingston, Jamaica. The trip from July 21-August 4, 2001 was sponsored by Volunteer Jamaica, affiliated with Free the Children.

Winning posters from the 2001-2002 Sweatfree Schools Poster Contest will be available for viewing later in 2002.

Thank you to all students and teachers who participated. On the right is the work of David Agbodji from Christopher Columbus High School, NY, NY, first place winner in the 10-12th grade category in 2000-2001, New York City division.
