Local Labor-Religion Coalitions
participated in Labor Day events such as the
Blessing of the Workers program at the New York State Fair

Free the Children chapters
across the state are learning from members who traveled during the
summer. Emily Wistar, 16, of the Capital District Chapter is pictured
on the right. She works with a student at the St. Pius School in Kingston,
Jamaica. The trip from July 21-August 4, 2001 was sponsored by Volunteer
Jamaica, affiliated with Free the Children. |
