GET INVOLVED

In addition to learning about the mission and activities of the New York State Labor-Religion Coalition, you are invited to join in activities of a local coalition, participate in the next International Project delegation, and organize a group to make your local school district "sweatfree" by adopting an "informed choice" purchasing policy for apparel and sports equipment purchased by the district.

There's a new way to support fair treatment for workers: the LRC's new Fair Trade Project. Click here to learn about changing the rules of the global economy with every cup of coffee you drink.

You are also invited to participate in Labor in the Pulpit/ On the Bimah programs around Labor Day in September. Click on the materials section of the web site of Interfaith Worker Justice. Excellent bulletin inserts, readings and publicity information are available in .pdf format. Materials can also be ordered in bulk.
