Religious Task Force of the Tompkins County Workers' Center

News
Based in the Ithaca, NY area, the Religious Task Force is part of the Tompkins County Workers' Center, founded in mid 2006. Formerly the Tompkins County Living Wage Coalition, the organization has led campaigns for economic justice for many years. Click here for news and information about this new organization.

"Welcoming the Stranger in our Midst: Fairness in Immigration Policy" was the topic of a breakfast briefing on June 13, 2006 at Catholic Charities in Tompkins County. Religious leaders representing 25 congregations or organizations, representing 15 denominations, participated along with Cornell legal scholar Steve Yale-Loehr.
